Just Keep Packing

Definitely feeling stressed and sad... the movers come tomorrow, and we leave Singapore in less than a week. Just telling myself to breathe and just keep swimming, I mean packing.  The move home should be easier?

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Happy Chinese New Year! I haven't kept up with this blog... life and work always seemed to get in the way. No excuses.... I know, I know.  I love Chinese New Year because I feel like it's a second chance at January 1st. I was thinking that I would be taking a different approach at the blog and figured that 2014 would lead the way to my new start. We've been to so many amazing places, and usually I've created posts based on the trips, sometimes breaking it into several parts. I take too many photos and take way too much time figuring out which photos to post and what to write about. For me, an easier way to continue this blog is to post one photo at a time, maybe with a small description or whatever I'm feeling like that day. This format will also work better because.....

We're moving back to Denver! I don't think anyone even reads this thing anymore but I feel compelled to continue. I still want to catalogue the things that we've seen and done somehow, some way. I'm excited to move back to our "home" but sad at the same time. It's the weirdest feeling that I've ever experienced. Definitely bittersweet. Since we just got the news a few days ago, we will be busy crossing the Pacific Ocean a couple of more times and packing up. I hope to resume once we're settled back in Colorado.

Perth Round Two

Somehow we made it to Perth twice in 2013 within three months. In June we went with friends for the sole purpose of watching a live Aussie rules game. It was a relaxing weekend of eating the wonderful, fresh food you find down under and an added bonus of cool and very chilly weather! We were also excited to visit Little Creatures again. This time we went to Little Creatures Next Door which has a different vibe than the original outlet, but still great nonetheless. Here are our photos from Perth, Australia...

We're hoping to go back again soon. It's the perfect getaway to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Singapore.
